Bulldog Bully Stephenson doesn’t do subtle, and he didn’t start now. Asked by a DRC staffer this week who he wanted to see across the ring first, the American strongman didn’t hesitate: “That French lumberjack. Clarion. Big hammer, bigger reputation, hasn’t proven a thing to me yet.”

The comment made its way back to Clarion within the hour, backstage sources say, and the response was exactly as short as you’d expect from a man who lets a sledgehammer do most of his talking. He reportedly just nodded.

Two power wrestlers, one loud and one silent, both from opposite ends of the strength spectrum DRC was built to showcase. Nothing is booked yet. Both men clearly wish it already was.
