With DRC Reckoning #1 two days away, Aalhya broke a short silence following weeks of back-and-forth with Ishikori Katzushita over who truly belongs at the center of the Women’s division.

“Everyone wants a last word before Friday. I don’t need one,” Aalhya said. “I said her name once. She answered once. That’s enough talking. I don’t need last words — I need three minutes in that ring.”

Katzushita, who has maintained a calm, measured tone throughout the exchange, has not yet responded. The two have not shared a card since signing, and Friday marks the first time either will step into a DRC ring at all — last words or not.
