Hammer Clarion has not said much of anything since the hooded man tore through the Heavyweight Title triple threat at DRC Reckoning #1 — but cornered outside the DRC training facility, he broke his silence with characteristic economy.

“Vacant is fine,” Clarion said, when asked about the no contest that left Bulldog Bully Stephenson and Nakazumi Hawaaiti without answers. “Good. Let them chase it. Let them get hit by ghosts. I don’t chase anything. I wait.”

It is the first public word from Clarion since he singled out Stephenson with a wordless minute-long staredown before the show — and the first sign that, in his eyes, nothing that happened in that ring changes his position in the picture. Asked directly whether he considers himself still part of the Heavyweight conversation, Clarion offered nothing but a long look and a shrug before walking away.

No date, no challenge, no name attached — just Clarion, characteristically, doing the least amount of talking possible while saying the most.
