Hammer Clarion doesn’t talk. That’s been the story since he signed. But two days after publicly waving off both Bulldog Bully Stephenson and Nakazumi Hawaaiti’s claims to the vacant Heavyweight Title as “a queue,” Clarion was seen at a promotional shoot standing directly across from Stephenson — not Hawaaiti — for nearly a full minute without a word between them.

When a crew member finally asked if there was a problem, Clarion didn’t look away from Stephenson. “No problem,” he said. “Yet.”

Stephenson, characteristically, tried to make it friendly — offering a handshake that Clarion didn’t take. “He’ll come around,” Stephenson told reporters after. “Or he won’t. Either way, I’ll be ready.”

No match has been confirmed between the two. But with Reckoning #1 ten days away and the Heavyweight Title still vacant, Clarion picking Stephenson out of a room he shares with two other contenders is the loudest thing the quiet man has done yet.
