Czarina Ice has spent the run-up to Reckoning #1 waving off distractions and pointing, without naming anyone, toward the Women’s Title. Today, for the first time, she pointed at a person instead.

Asked in passing about the rest of the Women’s division, Ice’s usual dismissiveness dropped just long enough to land on Rajah Sabu. “The quiet one. She thinks stillness reads as danger. It reads as waiting to lose.” Sabu, informed of the remark, didn’t raise her voice to answer it — she rarely does. “Let her keep talking. I’ve never needed the room’s attention to take what’s mine.”

No match has been booked, and Ice was quick to add she’s “still focused on the title, not a warm-up.” But it’s the first time she’s put a name to anything since arriving, and Sabu isn’t the type to let a comment like that go unanswered forever.
