Hammer Clarion picked a side of the room to stand in front of this week, and it wasn’t Nakazumi Hawaaiti’s. Two days after Clarion waved off both Heavyweight claimants as “a queue” and then spent a full minute in silence across from Bulldog Bully Stephenson specifically, Hawaaiti noticed.

“Funny thing about a queue,” Hawaaiti said when asked about it. “I was in it first. He walked right past me to stare at someone else.” He didn’t raise his voice — he rarely does — but he didn’t let it go either. “Zanshin Lock doesn’t care who’s watching. It works the same on anybody who’s still standing there when I’m done being polite.”

No match has been confirmed for any of the three men still circling the vacant Heavyweight Title. But with Reckoning #1 closing in and Clarion now visibly picking favorites, Hawaaiti made it clear tonight he isn’t planning on being the one left out of the conversation.
