Officially, Maurice Green is the General Manager who signs the talent and books the shows. Unofficially — and it’s an open secret nobody bothers whispering about anymore — he’s also the man who owns Digital Ring Combat outright. You’d never guess it from how he runs a locker room: he still knocks before entering a wrestler’s dressing room, still takes notes when a rookie pitches an idea, still lets the boos land on him without pulling rank to make them stop. He grew up around Italy’s local wrestling circuits before this promotion was even a plan on paper, and something about that grassroots start seems to have stuck — he treats DRC like something he’s a caretaker of, not something he’s owed. The tattoo under his sleeve predates the company; ask him about it and he’ll change the subject back to whoever’s on next week’s card. He’ll tell you, and mean it, that the show was never supposed to be about him.
