Antony built the Wasp persona in a Toronto independent scene that rewarded exactly one thing: not boring the crowd. The mask and the sting-yellow gear aren’t just visual — he wrestles like something with a stinger, all sudden angles and no wasted motion, closing distance faster than his size should allow. He’s easy to cheer because he never plays it safe: he’ll take a risk to pop the crowd even when the safe path was right there. The claws on his gauntlets are for show, but the strikes underneath them aren’t — Antony hits harder than a “fun” wrestler is supposed to, which is exactly why opponents stop underestimating him around the second exchange. His finisher, the Hive Drop, is a full-extension diving elbow he saves for exactly the moment an opponent thinks the match has slowed down.
